Haven Evangelical Church

Services Every Sunday, 10.15am

The Haven Evangelical Church is the cornerstone of the Haven Christian Centre.  Founded in 1968, the church originally began as an outside Sunday School in a local park in Pembroke Dock.  The church grew, and required a building - the first being a disused water pumping
station.  In 1971 the church moved again to larger premises.  By 1977, the church had grown even further, both in numbers and in vision.

The decision was made to convert a disused brewery and stables into a Christian Centre, as well as a meeting place for the church - and thus the Haven Christian Centre came into
existence.

All locals and visitors are welcome to attend our regular church services. The church can be found near our rear car park.

HAVEN EVANGELICAL CHURCH STATEMENT OF FAITH

We Believe: -

The Bible is the Divinely inspired, authoritative Word of God, sufficient in all matters of personal faith and corporate practice for a body of redeemed people.

In the unity of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit which is given to every believer at the time of rebirth, but constantly in need of refilling.

In the essential Deity of The Lord Jesus Christ, His incarnation and virgin birth; sinless life; vicarious death; bodily resurrection and ascension.

In the fall of mankind into sin and the consequential need of repentance; and faith in the death of Christ as the only means of forgiveness and cleansing from sin.

In the sacraments of believer's baptism by immersion and of The Lord's Supper.
In the offices of the church government by elders, deacons, pastors, apostles, prophets, evangelists, and teachers.

In believing these things we have a God who provides, a Saviour who loves, a Holy Spirit who guides and empowers us for His service.

This is our faith in a mighty God to be shared with all
